this fella

I had the opportunity yesterday 

for  an altogether too short visit with a wonderful friend

who lives entirely too far away.

She brought along her 2 little ones

and if their looks weren't darling enough

let me just tell you that their little english accents made me putty in their hands.

We headed off to the park and I brought along Finn

(because he's the kind of fella who's always up for a walk)

Well! To see him in action with these 2 little ones

was something else.

He was so calm and careful with them.
He chased after the sticks they threw him
and relinquished them back with relative ease.
He stood at their feet munching on the nuts they spilled for him
and sat for long spells while they stroked his fur.

They even took turns holding his lead while we walked home

and he just trotted along beside them.

Love it.
Finn's going to be a great family dog.
